OUR TEA PACKAGES
The environment is important to us and because our teas are made with so much love from nature, it was only fitting to make our packages as close to nature as possible too. As a result we designed our packages with 100% recycled paper and utilized soy-based inks and waterless printing technology. Waterless print technology is a unique form of offset printing, which eliminates the use of water and chemicals to transfer the ink onto the paper as in regular printing presses. Waterless printing does not generate any industrial wastewater, unlike conventional offset printing, which relies on thousands of litres of water and a combination of numerous toxic chemicals. We are also happy to avoid plastics. Thrive by Nature only uses recycled food grade paper and wood pulp cello to pack each tea, with the handmade touch of recycled jute string to tie them off into beautiful bundles.
OUR TEAThrive by Nature teas are hand-blended in small batches from organically grown and/or wildcrafted ingredients. There is no added sugar, artificial colours or flavours but only beautiful, unapologetically pure ingredients from the soils of our earth; unchanged, nourishing and perfect as is – just as nature intended! We currently have nine unique blends, which have all been lovingly prepared and packaged in line with naturopathic philosophy. That is, to be as close to nature as possible, create a sense of balance and do no harm.

OUR DIFFERENCEOur chai’s have been hand-blended in small batches from organically grown spices and herbs, adhering to its traditional way of preparation. However, we don’t bulk up our chai’s with Camellia sinensis (tea), allowing the spices to shine stronger and bring you more benefits. This means you can enjoy the spices as they develop together and individually, without the bitter tannins that are produced from long-steeped tea. So reuse your chai’s multiple times from teapots, to stovetops, to flavouring desserts! Our chai just gets better with each infusion, so enjoy the different tones and layers cup after cup, after cup!

OUR COMMITMENT
We understand how lovely it is to receive a beautifully branded and packaged postal box with custom thank you letters and business cards. We really do. But as we are very focused on our environment and making responsible decisions, this simply does not align with our core philosophy. We believe that we have to be the change we wish to see in the world and as a result we are constantly improving what we do. Funnily enough, it is not by complicating and expanding our process but by simplifying it completely.
Since the beginning, we have repurposed around 90% of all our postage-packing materials from local businesses and suppliers so as to keep waste moving across the planet. All our post boxes are recycled and the shreddies are made from recycled waste paper. Biodegradable packing peanuts may also appear in your post box to protect the tea – these are made from corn starch and dissolve in water. Your orders are also taped up with paper tape and we do not include printed invoices or marketing materials. We have saved tonnes of plastic and reduced much unnecessary waste with these measures, allowing us to lead the way as Australia's most earth-friendly, boutique Tea Company.
